ABSTRACT
Physical education (PE) and sports are being transformed through artificial intelligence (AI), which allows real-time analytics, tailored training, and inclusive practices. This study measured the performance of AI in terms of its efficacy in improving performance, decreasing the risks of injury, and fostering equity. A mixed-method intervention, consisting of 200 participants from five institutions over 12 weeks of wearable sensor data, skill tests, and injury records in combination with interviews and focus groups. The findings indicated that the AI predictive model delivered an accuracy of 88 percent, injuries were reduced by 42 percent, and skills were learned faster by 28 percent. The outcomes of inclusiveness were a 32% drop in the rate of female dropouts and a 35% rise in the number of students with disabilities who engaged.
