ABSTRACT
Sleep plays a vital role in adolescents' physical, cognitive and emotional well-being. This exploratory study examined sleep behaviour and perceived daily performance among adolescents aged 16–19 years in Ludhiana City. Using a descriptive cross-sectional research design, data were collected from 51 respondents through a structured online questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, including percentages and mean scores, were used to analyse the data. The findings indicated that many adolescents reported sleeping fewer than the recommended hours, following delayed bedtime routines and frequently using digital devices before sleep. While most participants perceived their academic performance as average or good, many also reported occasional daytime fatigue, variations in concentration and fluctuations in productivity.
