BRIDGING PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS: TRANSFORMING INDIAN EDUCATION THROUGH NEP-2020 AND NCF-2023
Author: Krishna Kumar TP, Suriakala R, Krishnaprasad A, Dhanya Nair

This paper examines the integration of psychological principles in India's National Education
Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023, focusing on their
shared emphasis on constructivist learning, socio-emotional learning (SEL), competencybased
education, and inclusive practices. By analyzing how these frameworks incorporate
key psychological theories, the study identifies both strengths, such as the promotion of
active, experiential learning, and challenges, including the need for improved teacher training
and assessment infrastructure. The paper offers actionable recommendations to enhance the
practical implementation of these policies, suggesting investments in specialized training,
assessment tools, and leveraging government initiatives like Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. If
effectively implemented, NEP-2020 and NCF-2023 could significantly impact India's socioeconomic
development by fostering a well-rounded, competitive workforce and advancing

GENDER DIFFERENCES IN THE IMPACT OF YOGA MUDRAS, PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, AND SPORTS ON SLEEP QUALITY IN ADOLESCENTS AND ADULTS
Author: Sangh Priya Gautam, Prof. Rakesh Pathak

Sleep quality is a critical determinant of overall health and well-being, yet it is influenced by various physiological, psychological, and behavioral factors, including gender. This study examines gender differences in the impact of yoga mudras, physical activities, and sports on sleep quality among adolescents and adults. Using a comparative research design, 200 participants (100 males and 100 females) were analyzed based on sleep parameters, including sleep duration, onset latency, efficiency, and disturbances. The results indicated that women experience more frequent sleep disturbances, longer sleep onset latency, and lower sleep efficiency compared to men, particularly in adulthood. This discrepancy is attributed to hormonal fluctuations, psychological stress, and lifestyle variations. The study also found that yoga mudras significantly improved sleep efficiency and reduced disturbances in females, whereas sports participation had the most pronounced impact on sleep duration and q

SELF-REGULATED LEARNING AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN RELATION TO THEIR GENDER AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Author: Roshan Lal, Sita Devi, Narbada Devi

Self-regulated learning (SRL) is the process through which individuals actively take control of their own learning. It involves self-regulation, planning and goal-setting, self-monitoring, evaluating, and regulating one's cognition, motivation, and behaviour to achieve academic goals. The acquisition of self-regulation in learning is important for students. Those who are self-regulated can articulate both short- and long-term learning goals, create plans in advance to accomplish these goals, self-motivate, and maintain focus on their objectives and progress. The present study explores self-regulated learning among undergraduate students with respect to their gender and academic achievement. A total of 1,187 undergraduate students were selected using a random sampling technique. Data were gathered through the descriptive survey method, utilizing the Self-Regulated Learning Scale developed by Gupta and Mehtani (2017). Descriptive statistics and two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were e

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF FACTORS INFLUENCING PRO-ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR
Author: Mallika Sharma, Rhythm Arora

There are various aspects that affect people's participation in activities that promote environmental sustainability. Based on well-established theoretical frameworks, such as the Value-Belief-Norm theory and the Theory of Planned Behavior, this study critically examines the complex roles of social norms, psychological attachment to location, environmental knowledge, attitudes, values, and other perceived impediments. The effectiveness of environmental education initiatives aimed at closing the "attitude-behavior gap," wherein expressed environmental concern frequently does not transfer into consistent action, is highlighted. This review offers a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the main drivers and inhibitors of Pro B by integrating insights from a wide range of studies. It also offers extensive implications for researchers, educators, and policymakers who aim to promote a more sustainable and environmentally conscious global society.

WAYS TO MEASURE SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING
Author: Gunjan Malhotra

Well-being is challenging to define, but it is even harder to measure. Generally, well-being measures can be classified into two broad categories: subjective and objective. Subjective well-being can be measured through certain observable personality traits of an individual. Subjective well-being involves psychological aspects such as confidence, perceptions, fulfilment, sense of belonging, and purpose. The objective well-being of an individual is assessed through economic, social, and spiritual aspects. The happiness index is a comprehensive tool to assess well-being, life satisfaction, and sustainability. The happiness index can also be used to measure quality of life.

"मध्यकालीन भारत में शिल्प, कृषि एवं व्यापार आधारित आत्मनिर्भर अर्थव्यवस्था: एक समालोचनात्मक अध्ययन"
Author:

STRESS MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AMONG INTER-COLLEGIATE AND ACADEMY CRICKET PLAYERS
Author: Kamla Kant, Prof. Rakesh Pathak

Stress management is an essential component of performance and well-being in competitive sports, particularly in cricket, where players face intense physical and psychological demands. This study examines the stress management strategies employed by inter-collegiate and academy-level cricket players, focusing on psychological techniques, physical conditioning, and environmental factors. A quantitative approach was adopted, involving 100 participants divided equally between the two groups. The findings reveal that inter-collegiate players experience higher stress levels due to dual commitments of academics and sports, whereas academy players benefit from structured support systems, leading to better coping mechanisms. Significant correlations were observed between physical fitness metrics and reduced stress levels, underscoring the importance of regular conditioning. The study highlights the need for tailored interventions, including mental health resources, structured training programs

EXPLORING THE POWERS OF CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF INDIAN AND BRITISH PARLIAMENTS
Author: Arun Kumar

In the modern era, Britain is the oldest and India is the largest democratic country. In India, the gradual development of democracy during the contemporary period occurred under British colonial rule; however, its present democratic structure is entirely different. After independence, the framers of the Indian Constitution declared the adoption of a written constitution along with a parliamentary form of government to strengthen the political system and achieve the highest level of national development. This can only be achieved if the relevance, dynamism, and vitality of the Constitution are maintained. Therefore, in the present time, both the Indian and British Parliaments have been vested with the power to amend the Constitution. The primary objective of this study is to understand the significance of constitutional amendments by conducting a comparative analysis of the constitutional amendment powers of the parliaments of both countries. The researcher has employed historical, com

INTEGRATED TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN INDIA: WAY FORWARD TO VIKSHIT BHARAT
Author: Amar Upadhyaya, Grishma Boruah, Kapil Dev Gogoi, Liza Gogoi

This article explores the part played by teacher education in achieving the vision of "Viksit Bharat 2047," placing special focus on the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) launched through India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It points to teachers as moral mentors, thinkers, and social leaders crucial to building the future of the country. The research, grounded in qualitative analysis of secondary sources—policy reports, government documents, and academic writings—examines the structure, curriculum, and policy framework of ITEP. It uncovers recurring issues in Indian teacher education like outdated curricula, inferior infrastructure, lack of professionalism, and drifting away from NEP's transformational objectives. The paper describes how ITEP, being a four-year dual-degree program, meets these challenges through combined academic-pedagogical preparation, flexible entry-exit points, outcomes-based education, and prolonged school-based internships. The program seeks

AN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMATIC RESEARCH REVIEW: TREND ANALYSIS
Author: Desh Deepak, Rashmi Gore, Vimal Singh

Finding a pattern or trend in data—an upward or downward change in the data—is known as trend analysis. It is predicated on a longitudinal analysis of documented data that shows what has occurred in the past, what the current circumstance indicates, and, based on these data, what is anticipated to occur in the future (Best & Kahn, 2009). As a researcher in the subject of education, the researcher has selected to know a trend analysis for educational research because researchers are interested in knowing the direction that these studies are going in. The researcher has examined numerous trend studies, particularly in the field of education, with regard to their objectives, variables, methodology, data analysis methodologies, and conclusions, to conduct a proper and systematic trend analysis. To determine the knowledge gap and carry out research in this area, the researcher will provide details of comparable research efforts in this paper. To analyze the reviewed studies, the researcher

“SKILL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH BAGLESS EDUCATION: A KEY PATHWAY TO ACHIEVING NEP 2020 OBJECTIVES”
Author: Chandrasekhar Bhoi, Biswarupa Behera, Swaviman Subhendu Mohanty

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 represents a paradigm shift in India’s approach to education, emphasizing flexibility, learner-centric pedagogy, and the integration of vocational and skill-based learning from an early stage. Among its innovative recommendations is the concept of Bagless Days—periodic, structured days during which students engage in learning without textbooks, focusing instead on hands-on activities, local crafts, vocational training, and experiential learning modules. This review-based study critically examines the theoretical underpinnings, practical implementation, and policy implications of Bagless Education within the NEP 2020 framework. Drawing from national and international educational models, the paper highlights how Bagless Education supports the development of 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. Additionally, it underscores the potential of this approach in reducing ac
